Using radios and practical exercises, cadets build confidence in communication — a key life skill.
Sport & Physical Training
We promote fitness, motivation, and personal improvement in a supportive environment.
Drill
Drill builds discipline, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Military Skills
Cadets take part in activities such as fieldcraft and shooting, developing confidence, resilience, and responsibility.
Camps, Field Days & Activities
Throughout the year, we run:
- Training camps
- Field exercises
- Outdoor activities
- Leadership challenges
These give cadets the chance to apply what they’ve learned in exciting, real-world environments.
Our Purpose

- Responsibility
- Confidence and resilience
- Leadership skills
- Strong values and good citizenship
We also encourage a positive attitude to community involvement.
Skills for Life — Not Just the Military

While we can provide guidance for those interested in a military career, the skills gained here are valuable for any career path — from education and employment to everyday life.
Inclusive and Supportive
We welcome young people from all backgrounds and encourage:
- Teamwork
- Respect
- Diversity
- Clear communication
- Social development
